My Proud Story...

I consider getting my job in the St. Luke’s business office a gift from God. I always wanted to be in billing, but with no prior experience, I started in customer service. After a few years, I moved my way up to team leader for the payer management denial, credits and contract analyst group for all hospital billing. Throughout the years as a St. Luke's employee, I have become a well-knowledged employee, grateful for the opportunity to keep learning and growing. The most rewarding part of my job is helping the staff members in training and educating and being a part of the St. Luke's Miners Memorial Annual Angel program. As part of the Angel program, we work with the short and long term nursing home coordinator to supply presents to the patients every year, which means a lot to patients, families and employees. I have been blessed to be a St. Luke's employee and I will always feel that way - St. Luke’s is part of my family.
