Our residency program trains dentists to provide comprehensive primary care to all patients. There is a diverse patient population that includes complex medical patients, special-needs patients and geriatric patients.

Experience is obtained across the spectrum of dentistry, including: fixed and removable prosthetics; restorative and aesthetic dentistry; oral and maxillofacial surgery; orthodontics; pediatric dentistry; periodontics; endodontics and oral medicine.

Clinical experiences include off-service rotations in anesthesiology, emergency medicine, family medicine and community health. Residents also will acquire competency in the assessment and treatment of dental and facial trauma, dental emergencies, physical diagnosis and the treatment of office emergencies, including experience performing OR cases.
