Faculty

Dr. Allen earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. John Fisher College, Wegmans School of Pharmacy.  She completed a PGY-1 pharmacy residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-New Brunswick and a PGY-2 Infectious Disease residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.  Dr. Allen joined the St. Luke’s University Health Network Pharmacy Team as an Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacist in 2021.  Her professional interests include antimicrobial stewardship, antibiotic resistance, managing infections in immunocompromised hosts and participating in patient care rounds with the infectious disease team.  Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Allen enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching college basketball, and reading. 

Dr. Axelrod earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at Lakeland Regional Health in Lakeland, FL and her PGY2 psychiatric pharmacy residency at University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Axelrod joined the St. Luke’s University Health Network Pharmacy Team as a Behavioral Health Clinical Pharmacist in 2022. Her professional interests include acute psychosis, treatment-resistant schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and catatonia. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks with her dog, playing tennis, hanging out with family and friends, and watching all of the latest TV shows.

Dr. Bullock is a graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana College of Pharmacy. She then completed he completed a PGY-1 pharmacy residency and a PGY-2 Ambulatory Care pharmacy residency at the Dallas VA Medical Center. In addition to her ambulatory care training, she has broad experience in community, long-term care, hospital, and outpatient pharmacy settings. Her professional interests include advancing ambulatory care pharmacy services, quality improvement practices, clinical quality operations, and educating patients, healthcare professionals, and pharmacy learners. Outside of pharmacy she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and laughing.

Dr. Kavelak graduated from University of the Sciences, Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY-1 residency at Lancaster General Hospital and a PGY-2 Critical Care residency at Philadelphia College of Pharmacy/Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. She joined the clinical faculty at St. Luke’s University Health Network in 2017. Dr. Kavelak’s professional interests include nutrition support, advanced cardiac life support, and sepsis. Her personal interests include traveling with her wife, cooking and trying new foods, and competing in powerlifting.

Dr. Kester earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, University of the Sciences. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and a PGY2 Critical Care Residency at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL. Dr. Kester joined the St. Luke’s University Health Network Clinical Pharmacy Team in 2017 and served as a Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist for 5 ½ years. She recently transitioned roles to the Pharmacy Operations Manager at the Bethlehem Campus in early 2023. Her professional interests include pharmacy optimization, medication safety, clinical staff education, and information technology. Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Kester enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Martin earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy in Houston, Texas. She then completed a PGY-1 with an Ambulatory Care Focus at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Martin joined St. Luke’s in 2019 as an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist. She is currently embedded in two primary care clinics with a focus on team-based patient care and disease management. Her professional interests include diabetes, CGM, and equipping both patients and providers with medication information necessary to manage disease states. Outside of pharmacy she enjoys time in the outdoors with her husband and four children.

Dr. Matika is a graduate of Wilkes University Nesbitt School of Pharmacy. After pharmacy school, he pursued post-graduate training at Abington Hospital – Jefferson Health, where he completed both a PGY-1 pharmacy residency and a PGY-2 infectious diseases pharmacy residency. After residency, Dr. Matika returned home to St. Luke’s University Health Network, where he first began his pharmacy career as a student in 2013. In 2020, he officially joined the clinical faculty as an Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacist. His professional interests include navigating care in patients with beta-lactam allergies, decreasing use of high-risk antimicrobials by prospective review, and antibiotic management in the critically ill. Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Matika enjoys attending Philadelphia sports games and spending time with his family.

Dr. Miller graduated from Wilkes University Nesbitt School of Pharmacy. He completed his PGY-1 pharmacy residency at St. Luke’s University Health Network, and his PGY-2 Emergency Medicine Residency at Lakeland Regional Health in Lakeland, FL. Dr. Miller returned to St. Luke’s in 2019 as an Emergency Medicine Clinical Pharmacist. His professional interests include toxicology and trauma. In his spare time he enjoys watching sports, fishing, and spending time with family.

Dr. Papademetrious graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy at Samford University’s McWhorter School of Pharmacy in Birmingham, AL. She completed a pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Colorado in Denver. She joined the clinical pharmacy staff at St. Luke’s University Hospital in 2007. Her interests include neonates, pediatrics, and high-risk obstetrics. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Dr. Patricia is a graduate of Wilkes University Nesbitt School of Pharmacy. He completed his PGY-1 pharmacy residency at WakeMed Health & Hospitals in Raleigh, NC. He joined the clinical pharmacy team in 2017 and is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor for Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine. Dr. Patricia serves as a resource for the Pain and Anesthesia service, as well as the Geriatrics service. His special interests include cardiology, anticoagulation, pain management, and evidence based medicine decision making. Dr. Patricia is also a member of the network's Pain Process Improvement Committee and Opioid Stewardship Committee.

Dr. Price graduated from the University of Sciences, Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY-1 residency at Shore Medical Center and then became an Emergency Department Clinical Pharmacist at Shore Medical Center. She joined the clinical faculty at St. Luke’s University Health Network in 2020. Dr. Price’s professional interest include advanced cardiac life support, sedation, and anticoagulation. Outside of pharmacy, her personal interests include traveling, the beach, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Rerick graduated from Duquesne University in 2017. Right after graduation, she completed a PGY1 and PGY2 residency in Ambulatory Care at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Rerick joined St. Luke’s University Health Network as Clinical Integration Pharmacist in 2021. In her current role she spends 50% of her time embedded in primary care offices doing chronic disease state management, and the remaining 50% of time is spent working on population health initiatives. Outside of work she enjoys getting outside by running, hiking, camping, and kayaking with her husband and 2 dogs.

Dr. Sutow graduated from Thomas Jefferson University College of Pharmacy in Philadelphia, PA. She went on to complete a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Abington Hospital – Jefferson Health followed by a PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She joined the St. Luke’s Network as the Critical Care & Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacist for the Allentown Campus in 2018. Her areas of interest include anticoagulation, infectious diseases, and shock states. Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Sutow's interests include everything Disney, cooking & baking, traveling, the beach, and spending quality time with family.

Dr. Waldron graduated with a PharmD and a Master of Science in Clinical Research from The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Campbell University.  He completed a PGY-1 at Fletcher Allen Health Care and a PGY-2 in Oncology at Rhode Island Hospital. He joined the clinical pharmacy staff in 2012 and served as the Clinical Hematology-Oncology Pharmacist for over 10 years.  He has since transitioned into his new position as Network Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator. Dr. Waldron's professional interests include developing and expanding clinical pharmacy services to improve patient care. His personal interests include spending time with family, running marathons, spending time outdoors, traveling, and dining.

Dr. Weismantel is a graduate of South Dakota State University College of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY-1 at Coatesville VA Medical Center and a PGY-2 in Ambulatory Care at James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital. She joined the St. Luke’s ambulatory care pharmacy team in 2019. She routinely provides direct patient care and chronic disease management of several diseases, which primarily includes type 2 diabetes, as well as serving as a drug information resource for the primary care offices she is embedded in. Outside of work, you can find her traveling, crafting, or spending time with her family.

Dr. Wilkinson earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. He completed his PGY1 pharmacy residency at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Bethlehem, PA and his PGY2 critical care pharmacy residency at Philadelphia College of Pharmacy / Cooper University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Wilkinson joined the St. Luke’s University Health Network clinical faculty in 2023. Dr. Wilkinson’s professional interests include neurocritical care, status epilepticus, and nutrition. Outside of the hospital he enjoys playing soccer, obstacle course racing, and traveling.

Dr. Wirkowski received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from Vassar College. He was a researcher in Cell and Molecular Biology and started in a PhD program at the University of Notre Dame before changing career paths to Pharmacy. He graduated from the St. John’s University School of Pharmacy (Queens, NY). Dr. Wirkowski completed his PGY-1 pharmacy residency at NYU-Winthrop Hospital (Mineola, NY) and continued on to complete his PGY-2 psychiatry pharmacy residency at the Cleveland Clinic – Lutheran Hospital (Cleveland, OH). He joined the clinical pharmacy team in 2018 and is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor for Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine. He enjoys his Beagle, Dachshund, the outdoors and playing Lacrosse.
